What is the legal basis for processing?

In addition to Alkemist (which operates this website), we or Alkemist may engage third parties to deliver services to you, such as sending out newsletters and prospectuses. In such cases, data processing agreements will be entered into with the third parties, ensuring that their processing of your personal data takes place in accordance with this policy and applicable privacy regulations.
Your personal data will also be shared with third parties to the extent required by law or by a decision from a public authority.
Your rights and applicable laws
To the extent that we process your personal data, you have the right of access and the right to restriction of processing. You also have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transfer your personal data to another controller (data portability). We strive to ensure that all communication and storage takes place in accordance with established standards and practices for information security, including the use of SSL encryption where supported. In addition, we only use reputable subcontractors that meet our security requirements and enter into processing agreements where necessary or appropriate.
If a (possible) breach of applicable privacy legislation is discovered, we will contact the affected parties, as well as the relevant supervisory authority, to the extent such notification is required by applicable privacy legislation (including the GDPR).
